Glenforest School planning their annual Bulldog Boogie Bash fundraiser

West Columbia, SC (Paul Kirby) - Glenforest School is getting ready to dance the night away as planning continues for their annual Bulldog Boogie Bash. This is the largest fundraising event the school has each year.

Glenforest is a 4k-12 accredited, independent, non-profit day school that serves students with learning differences. Their curriculum is 100% special needs based. According to the website www.masters-in-special-education.com, Glenforestranks number 15 on a list of the 50 Best Private Special Needs Schools in the United States.

The Bulldog Boogie Bash helps provide the school with much needed school supplies and educational materials. The money raised is also used to purchase equipment for their programs and assist in hiring some of the most highly qualified teachers there are. This year, they are hoping to be able to provide scholarships to children with learning difficulties who otherwise would not be able to attend Glenforest.

The Bulldog Boogie Bash is scheduled for Saturday, February 29th beginning at 6:30 p.m. It is expected to continue until 10:00 p.m. It will be held at the school which is located at 1041 Harbor Drive in West Columbia.

The featured entertainment this year is The Entertainers. They are known for their Shag music and as well as Soul, Rhythm and Blues, and many other genres. The Entertainers specialize in fun parties and play weddings, corporate functions, reunions, birthdays, festivals and clubs up and down the east coast.
