Washington, DC - Wednesday, Congressman Joe Wilson released the following statement following the Senate vote to acquit President Donald Trump:
“Congress has been occupied because of House Democrats’ obsession with impeaching President Donald Trump, an obsession that began even before he was elected to office. I am thankful that today the Senate voted to acquit the President and Congress can finally get back to work for the American people. I am grateful that President Trump will now always be credited as acquitted.”
