Chapin, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Chapin Police Department has already had lots of assistance from the public who have tried to help investigators in identifying several suspects who committed a theft from the McDonald’s in Chapin. The photos of the suspects have been shared almost 500 times. If you haven’t seen it or shared it, now’s the time for you to do your part.

The pictured individuals are suspects in a purse theft while at McDonald’s. That business is located at 659 Columbia Avenue in Chapin. The second photo is the vehicle they left in which police say is a Ford Expedition. If these folks were local, someone probably would have recognized them by now. If you moved to Chapin from somewhere else and still have friends you stay in touch with through social media, perhaps you could help throw the net a little wider by sharing the story with those old friends.

The key to solving this crime now is probably you! Chapin police officers have only so many eyes to watch with. Sharing this post adds thousands and if you moved here from out of state, this investigation could go nationwide because of your help.

If you can identify these individuals, please call First Sergeant Frick at 803-575-8049, or CRIME STOPPERS at 1-888- CRIME SC. You can also make tips through their website at www.midlandscrimestoppers.com.
