Vulnerable elderly adult missing from Lexington area

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – A vulnerable elderly man is missing from Lexington and public safety personnel are concerned about where he might be. John Walter Cassidy, a man who’s in his mid-70s, went missing Wednesday March 18, 2020 from the Lexington area.

According to authorities, Cassidy has diabetes and dementia. He is balding and has grey hair with a mustache and a beard. He is approximately 5’ 7” tall. He may also be driving a light blue Ford. We do not currently have the information on the model or year of the vehicle.

At this point, we do not have any further information. We also do not have a picture of Mr. Cassidy. We should be able to obtain more at approximately 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Once we do, we will update this story further.
