Lexington police trying to find graffiti artist that goes on painting spree downtown

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – Lexington police officers are looking for a budding artist that tagged several buildings and other items with graffiti overnight Sunday and into Monday morning. The artist may consider these masterpieces, the police and property owners call it vandalism. These tags were painted at multiple businesses in the area of Columbia Avenue, Lake Drive, and Church Street.

Police are now asking that you look at the graphics and see if you recognize the drawings in any way. The signature is most probably some type of street name or nickname. Officer have said they have no information that any of these drawings are related to gang activity.

Police are asking the public if they have seen this graffiti design before or think you have information on who the vandal is, please call the Lexington Police Department at 803-359-6260.
