Cayce, SC (Paul Kirby) – The City of Cayce is trying to get the word out that their Municipal Court sessions have been postponed, not cancelled. If you have received a citation in Cayce, you are still responsible to pay the fine or appear before a judge to argue your case at a later date.
According to the city, The Cayce Municipal Court is closed. That began on March 17th and currently continues through April 30th. This is due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and concern for the public’s health. All parties who have been cited or summonsed to appear will be notified of the new court dates at the address that they have on file.
If you have moved or gave the officer an old address at the time you received the citation, you need to update your address now! You may contact them at 803-550-9550. When the message comes on, leave an intelligible message with your name, address, and phone number. You can also email at rstuckey@caycesc.gov.
Preliminary Hearings are postponed until further notice. Fine payments can be made online at www.CayceCourtPmts.com, by phone at (803) 234-6867, or by mailing a money order or cashier’s check to Cayce Municipal Court P.O. Box 3408, Cayce, SC 29171.
