Red Bank, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is in the early stages of a shooting investigation at the Doctor’s Care in the Red Bank area off South Lake Drive. This is according to Captain Adam Myrick, spokesman for the department. Myrick said that it appears as if the person might have fired the gun themselves. He said although they are looking into this, there is no reason for the community to be alarmed as it doesn’t appear as if there is a suspect at large.
According to reports, a person was found in the parking lot of the business in a car with a gunshot wound. This happened just before 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2020. They currently have deputies on the scene investigating the incident. Detectives are enroute also.
