Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - Mission Lexington, the multifaceted charitable organization that helps all types of people in need, wants to remind Lexington County residents that their food pantry is still open from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm Monday through Friday. Because of the situation with the coronavirus, they are relaxing normal policies for food distribution to the neighbors they serve. Those clients in need may now receive food once a month until further notice.
In a statement released Monday afternoon, the executive director of Mission Lexington Robin W. Bowers said, “We are blessed to able to serve Lexington County neighbors who are in need of food during this unprecedented time.”
All food pickups are currently in the rear of the building. They ask that you stay in your car and someone from their staff will come out to assist you.
