Lexington Two announces dates and deadlines for end of the school year

West Columbia, SC - Lexington Two has finalized dates and deadlines for the final weeks of the 2019-20 academic year, as schools remained closed for COVID-19 by order of South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster.

Among the key dates:

Friday, May 15 — Seniors’ last day for completing work; final day for new assignments. This is the final day for seniors to complete courses and any course remediation. For students in PreK-11th grades, this is the final day for new eLearning assignments to be made.

Monday, May 18–Friday, May 22 — Completion of eLearning assignments. This is the final week for students in PreK-11th grades to complete regular assignments, and students should begin make-up work. Schools will communicate with families about turning in any print work packets, as well as scheduling times to return school-issued materials (instructional materials, technology, library books) and pick up personal items still at school.

Monday, May 25 — Memorial Day and a school holiday

Tuesday, May 26–Tuesday, June 2 —Final work and school materials/devices return Students should turn in final makeup work. Schools will focus on mental wellness and fun virtual activities to close out the final week of the year. Families will return school-issued items and pick up personal items during this time.

Monday, June 8 — Schools mail student report cards
