Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher’s office has released the autopsy findings regarding Timothy Peele. He was the boater whose body was recovered from Lake Murray on Monday, May 5, 2020.

Peele's boat was found floating without him in it near Dominion Energy's ramp on the Irmo side of the Lake Murray dam. His body was recovered later the same day he went missing.

Fisher said that an autopsy, conducted on Tuesday May 6, 2020, determined that Peele’s death was the result of a medical event; therefore, his death has been ruled as natural, not accidental.
