Swansea, SC - With schools closed around the country, millions of children are left without access to breakfast and lunch programs. T-Mobile, working with local school districts, identified food programs and online learning environments as a critical need right now that it could help alleviate. Lexington School District Four is pleased to announce they are the recipient of a $5000 donation from the company as a result.

In the wake of this pandemic, T-Mobile is has committed over $2.5 million to provide vital COVID-19 response work to local school districts across the country. The funds raised will help ensure children continue to have access to meals, virtual learning, etc.
“School districts nationwide have been turned upside down and are seeing the impact on everything from disruption to the physical learning environment to more and more students facing food insecurity,” said Brigitta Witt, Vice President, Social Impact & Sustainability, T-Mobile. “Lexington School District Four has really stepped up to address a multitude of issues. We’re grateful that our T-Mobile teams in the Lexington area identified the opportunity to serve and had the means to quickly help the district continue supporting students and their families.”
