Mission Lexington receives donation from Palmetto Gourmet Food

Lexington, SC - Mission Lexington is excited to receive a donation of four pallets of ramen noodles from Palmetto Gourmet Foods.

“We’re beyond grateful to Palmetto Gourmet for this incredible donation,” said Robin W. Bowers, Executive Director of Mission Lexington. “We are blessed to have a community full of people reaching out to help the neighbors that we serve.”

“We feel it’s important to give back, especially during these challenging times, so are pleased to donate over 10,000 pouches of instant ramen to Mission Lexington,” said Sal Tortora, Director of Operations at Palmetto Gourmet Foods in Saluda. “I know the great work that Mission Lexington does to help families and individuals in need in our community. I’m proud that Palmetto Gourmet Foods can support their efforts by providing much-needed food for their food pantry.”

“Sal is a former volunteer at Mission Lexington Food Pantry and has made major contributions to us in the past,” said Bowers. “It’s people who understand our mission that often times become our biggest supporters.”
