Red Bank, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a stabbing on Buck Corley Road off South Lake Drive in Red Bank overnight last Friday. According to Captain Adam, spokesman for Sheriff Koon, one person was transported by Lexington County EMS to a local medical facility.

Saturday morning, there was crime scene tape stretched around the property that was drawing the attention of the neighbors and motorist passing by. All were concerned about what type of crime had occurred in their area. Many also said they use the park on Nazareth Road that’s just a short distance from the scene. Captain Myrick gave no indication that this was a random act of violence. He did not release any additional details in this open investigation.
