Red Bank, SC - During the June 2 meeting, the Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees approved the promotion of Aaron W. Dellorco to assistant principal of White Knoll High School, effective July 1. An educator with 16 years of experience, Dellorco currently teaches history at Pelion High School and serves as co-chair of the history department. At PHS, he led the Attendance and Discipline Committee as well as served on the Professional Learning Community Committee. He also completed the Aspiring Assistant Principal Program.

Before moving to Lexington in 2019, Dellorco worked as an administrator and teacher at various schools in Ohio. He served as a special education teacher for the Youngstown City School and the Campbell City School from 2004-2010. Then, he taught government and served as attendance supervisor for Trumbull Career and Technical Center in Warren, Ohio for eight years. In 2018, he was promoted to Agriculture, Trade and Industry Supervisor and supervised the government department at the center. In this role, he managed a staff of teachers and support staff. He also implemented a plan to promote school culture and student success.
Dellorco earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Youngstown State University in 2002, a Master of Education in special education from Grand Canyon University in 2006 and a Master of Science in educational leadership from Western Governors University in 2016.
