Irmo, SC (Diana Nation) - On June 18, 2020 investigators with the Irmo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division arrested 43-year-old Daniel Newbanks of Irmo. He is charged with seven counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor 3rd degree and one count of Conspiracy to Commit Exploitation of a Minor 1st Degree. Newbanks was found to be in possession of sexually explicit photos of a minor.
Newbanks was taken into custody Thursday morning without incident. He was booked into the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center where is awaiting a bond hearing.
