Gilbert, SC (Paul Kirby) – In Gilbert, home of the Lexington County Peach Festival, peach ice cream is a prized possession. Peaches are revered in Gilbert and a great deal of them find their way into some mighty fine ice cream. Making off with a someone’s peach ice cream can get you in a whole lot of trouble and Lexington County Sheriff deputies believe this man may have done just that a few weeks ago.

On July 5th of this year, Lexington County Sheriff’s investigators say this man was seen in the evening hanging around at a peach stand in Gilbert. Soon after, the ice cream went missing. He might have already eaten the evidence, but he sure can’t swallow the surveillance video!

Now, those investigators hope someone knows who this man is. If you happen to recognize him, or even if you think you do, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME SC (888-274-6372). You can also pass tips along through CRIME STOPPERS website by going to the SUBMIT A TIP tab of their website at midlandscrimestoppers.com.
