Lexington police want help to identify iPad shoplifter

Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - The Lexington Police Department needs the public’s assistance to catch a crook again. You the public have been one of their most important crime fighting tools in curbing crimes like shoplifting. That crime costs us all more at the cash register when we do the right thing by paying for any items we select. Now, police hope you can help them solve a case again.

This time the police hope someone can help identify this shoplifter. He stole an expensive iPad from the Wal-Mart on Sunset Boulevard in the town on July 1, 2020. Please look closely at that shirt. It’s one that same store sells but it’s certainly easy to identify. Study the color and style of his hair. Someone knows something about this man that can help.

If you have any information at all, please make that call to the police. Remember the cost of these kinds of stolen items is eventually passed on in a process known in the retail business as shrinkage to us all. If you know anything about this case, please contact Detective Taylor at 803-358-1569. Your help really is appreciated!
