West Columbia, SC – The West Columbia Beautification Foundation is recognizing the hard work West Columbia residents have been doing in their yards with a Beautification Foundation Yard of the Month Award.
The July 2020 winners of the Yard of Month are Mr. and Mrs. Van Kampen, 2118 Steele Drive, West Columbia, SC. The Van Kampen’s recently transformed their yard into the beautiful oasis pictured below. Each winner receives gift certificates donated by local businesses.
The Foundation is asking residents to submit pictures to their Facebook page at facebook.com/beautifywcolasc, before the end-of-day, on August 20th, to be considered for the next award.
To be considered, you MUST:
Post the picture of the yard to the West Columbia Beautification Facebook Page: facebook.com/beautifywcolasc using the hashtag #beautifywecosc
Include the address of the picture and your contact information either on the post, in a private message to the page, or to cotte@westcolumbiasc.gov.
The winner will be presented with a yard sign placed in the yard, a picture taken with a Foundation member, and a bag of goodies filled with local business donations.
