The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department needs your help locating a truck and its occupant(s)

Pond Branch, SC (Paul Kirby) – Lexington County Sheriff’s Deputies are asking for your help to find a pickup truck. It shouldn’t be hard to recognize. If you’ve ever heard an older person say, “It’s been rode hard and put up wet,” but you never understood exactly what that meant, take a look at this truck. It appears to fit that description perfectly.

The truck seems to be white or some other very light color Chevrolet that has extensive damage to its passenger side. The mirror is missing, the front fender is scraped and crumpled, the door handle is missing from the passenger door of the crew cab, and the wheels are mismatched. It looks like the spare is on the rear but there is a dark custom rim on the front. The hood’s bent upward and there’s something missing from the front bumper too. One picture has a fairly good photo of a guy peering out the window. If you look closely, you can see his face.

Deputies would like to have a chat with the occupants of this poor truck. They may have a little information about some lawn equipment that went missing from the 2600 block of Ben Franklin Road last week. The investigators would like to find them to see just what they know.

Please submit any tips to Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME SC. There’s also a way to make tips via the internet. Just go to midlandscrimestoppers.com and navigate over to the SUBMIT A TIP tab.
