Red Bank, SC (Paul Kirby) – Do you know or love someone who may have become addicted to drugs? This plague on our nation knows no boundaries and it can take over the life of someone who’s rich or poor, young or old, or from a strong loving family or a family that’s offered no love and support during the addicted person’s entire life. Because there are so many people out their struggling and dying with this right now, the Courage Center is offering free supplies that could save a life.
The Courage Center, in partnership with South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services and LRADAC, will be providing Narcan and prescription disposal bags free of charge. They will be offered to everyone who attends their New Life Skills Program for Adolescents & Youth in Transition ages 14 -20. This event, a part of ReDo Red Bank, will be held in Red Bank on August 31, 2020.
According to their website at couragecenter.org, the Courage Center provides a safe, supportive, recovery focused setting for young people and families on their journey to recovery from substance misuse or substance use disorder.
