West Columbia, S.C. – Lexington Medical Center is pleased to welcome Matthew P. Mazzola, DO, to the hospital’s network of care. Dr. Mazzola joins the board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners at The Columbia Medical Group to provide comprehensive medical care for adults, including the diagnosis and treatment of health issues, care for chronic diseases, and advice on preventive care, diet and exercise.
A magna cum laude graduate of La Salle University in Philadelphia, Dr. Mazzola earned his medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia, and completed his residency at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. He has experience providing general outpatient medical care to adults of all ages, in addition to offering ambulatory and subspecialty services. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the South Carolina Medical Association.
