SCHP seeking public's help in locating hit-and-run suspect

Gaston, SC (Diana Nation) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol needs the public's help locating a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian seriously injured on Friday, August 21, 2020.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. a suspect driving a dark colored, 2007-2014 Chevrolet or GM pickup truck or SUV, ran off the left side of the road, struck and seriously injured a pedestrian on Busbee Road near Pasture Road. The vehicle never stopped to check on the pedestrian and continued to travel toward Fish Hatchery Road.

The vehicle is believed to have sustained damage to its driver's side headlight area, front quarter panel area and may possibly be missing it's driver's side mirror.
