Cayce, SC (Paul Kirby) – The Cayce Department of Public Safety is working to find and arrest a suspect that was involved in the armed robbery of a store that took place earlier in August. At this point in their investigation, officers are hoping someone will recognize a photograph of the suspect and a car that was involved and call in a tip.
The robbery occurred at a store located at 2015 State Street in the city. The suspect is a female that is wearing a dark hoodie, a dark pair of pants or leggings, and is wearing a kerchief or bandanna as a face covering. She is also carrying a large shoulder bag on her right side. She was armed with a gun during the incident according to police.
She was driving what investigators believe was a black Ford 500. The car had damage to its right rear (passenger side) quarter panel and was displaying a paper tag on August 13, 2020, the date of the robbery.
