Cayce Department of Public Safety welcomes new officer

Cayce, SC (Paul Kirby) – Chief Byron Snellgrove of the Cayce Department of Public Safety took a few minutes recently to swear in an officer who is new to that department. The entire department then welcomed new Public Safety Officer Daniel LaGrega to the family.

LaGrega’s first day at Cayce was last week. He comes to the Cayce department from the City of Columbia Police Department. PSO LaGrega will now begin to work with a field training officer to get the lay of the land in Cayce and learn all their policies and procedures for keeping the residents of the city safe. In no time at all, PSO LeGrega will be out there working with one of the premier law enforcement agencies in the Midlands.
