Lexington investigators need help identifying suspects from home invasion

Lexington, SC - Lexington Police Chief Terrence Green said Friday afternoon that investigators are hoping that someone will have information about a recent home invasion that occurred at the Cedarcrest Village Apartments in Lexington. Green said he hopes someone will know something and they will come forward to assist investigators in identifying those involved.
On Friday, August 21, 2020, officers were dispatched 959 East Main Street in Lexington to the 700 building, for a home invasion that had just occurred. When officers arrived, they met with a victim who stated that just after 9:00 p.m., she had heard a knock at her front door. When she opened the door there was a black male who pushed his way into the apartment and pointed a firearm at her while demanding money. A second black male entered the apartment and stayed with two juveniles who were inside the apartment during this crime.
The victim gave the robbers an undisclosed amount of cash and they fled from the apartment in an unknown direction.
The subjects in this case were identified as two lack males in their early 20’s. One subject was described as approximately 5’8”, of slender build, and had short afro twists in his hair. He had a darker skin tone with a mustache and goatee. He was wearing a white shirt with a dark colored fitted ball cap. The other subject was described as approximately 5’10”, average build, with short trimmed hair. He had a lighter skin tone with a trimmed mustache and goatee. He was wearing a blue collared shirt.
Composite sketches were completed which are a representation of how the subjects may look based on information gathered from witnesses by investigators.
