Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – Utility trailers are often a target of thieves who see an easy way to make a quick buck. If they get away from the scene with the trailer, these crimes can be very difficult to solve. That’s why the investigators at the Lexington Police Department have learned that turning to you for help is often the best way of catching these crooks that would quickly prey on us all.

Now, officers need to identify two subjects who were involved in the theft of an enclosed utility trailer from a business on South Lake Drive. This occurred on Friday, August 21, 2020.

The subjects were driving a white Ford pickup truck with damage to the front grill area. It may even be a F-350 dually and has what looks like a golden stripe down the bottom of each side. It's definitely a crew cab model.

If you have information about this case, please contact Detective Alewine at 803-358-7262.
