Airport High School holds Mr. Eagle contest to raise funds for CAMP KEMO

West Columbia, SC – 03/26/2021 (Paul Kirby) - On Saturday, March 20, 2021, the 2021 Mr. Eagle contest was held at Airport High School. The contest is part of Airport High School’s Annual Charity Drive to help raise money for the children’s oncology camp, CAMP KEMO.
The Charity Drive was sponsored by Daniel Bailey and Miss Amanda Pinson, both of whom are teachers, and the Student Government Association at the school. The Mr. Eagle Contest is just a part of their annual fundraising efforts. This year’s contest alone raised nearly $2,000. In past years, the charity drive has raised nearly $60,000 annually for CAMP KEMO.
Thirteen contestants competed in this year’s Mr. Eagle contest. Each contestant had to participate in a three-minute interview with the judges, and model and formal wear.
When all the judging was complete, the 2021 winners are as follows:
Kelby Kenner – Mr. Freshman
Steven Salley – 1st Runner Up to Mr. Sophomore
Foster Barrs – Mr. Sophomore
Davis Nix – 1st Runner Up to Mr. Junior
Tyler Dasher – Mr. Junior
Jahsiah Richardson – 1st Runner up to Mr. Senior
Benji Bledsoe – Mr. Senior
Josh Spry – MR. EAGLE 2021
Campbell Garner – Mr. Nice Guy
Campbell Garner – People’s Choice
Davis Nix – Overall Theme Wear
