Cayce, SC - Airport High School’s volleyball coach Jessica Metts has been recognized as the Region 5-4A Volleyball Coach of the Year.
It’s the third time in 12-years Metts has received the honor, which is voted on by coaches in the region. She previously was selected to coach in the 4A/5A North-South volleyball game in 2018-19.
Metts, a physical education teacher, has been coaching volleyball at the Lexington Two high school since the 2007-08 school year. She joined Airport High School in January 2006.
