American Leadership Academy Lexington Breaks Ground on Campus Expansion
Lexington, SC 10/27/2026 - On Friday, October 30, American Leadership Academy Lexington will host a groundbreaking ceremony to launch a major expansion of its campus. The planned improvements include a new gymnasium, expanded carline stacking lanes, and an outdoor multi-use field for sporting events and practices. ALA Lexington Upper School Director Gabriel Cheavers, along with representatives from Charter One and the Charter Institute at Erskine and other special guests, will be in attendance and available for live interviews.

The expansion is designed to support the school’s continued growth and enhance the experience for students, families, and the surrounding community. The new gymnasium will provide a home for indoor athletics, physical education, and school-wide events, while the outdoor multi-use field will give student-athletes additional space to practice and compete. Expanded carline stacking lanes will help ease traffic and streamline daily drop-off and pick-up for families.
