How long have you been in law enforcement and worked as an SRO?
I've been in law enforcement for thirteen years and have worked as an SRO for the last three years.
What is the best thing about being an SRO?
I really enjoy the high five's from the little ones each morning during drop-off.
What personal achievement have you reached recently that you're proud of?
Over the past couple of years, I've become a DJ. It's always been a passion of mine as I love music and making people dance.
I always have a good time when I get to DJ.
What was your favorite thing that you did over the summer?
I traveled to Arkansas to visit a friend, and went off-roading through the Ozarks.
What was your favorite class when you were in school?
History was my favorite class. I believe that we can learn so much from the past.
Who was a teacher or mentor when you were in school who made a difference in your life?
My baseball coach was a big mentor in my life. I learned so much from him, and he always knew how to motivate us to keep us going.
What would adult you tell school-age you if you could go back in time?
Slow down. This is the best time of your life. Enjoy your friends and the time with your parents because life gets harder when you become an adult.
What are your hobbies or things that you do off-duty?
I love backpacking through the backcountry and being off the grid for a weekend with my brother.
What is your favorite television show or book?
I love the Mitch Rapp series by Vince Flynn. I like his style of writing in these action packed books.
What is a goal that you have for yourself during this school year?
I want to get to know everybody at ALA since it is a brand new school. I am looking forward to creating really good relationships with the student and staff alike. I want to create a very strong partnership between the our department and this charter school.
