Lexington, SC (06/03/2021) – The annual Summer Reading Program is here, and readers of all ages are encouraged to participate in Tails and Tales. Summer reading helps build literacy and language skills, prevents the dreaded summer slide for school-aged children, allows teens and adults to experience the joy of reading and so much more.
As you make plans this summer, don’t forget to include the library In your routine. The program runs from June 1 through August 8 and features free virtual programs and in person outdoor events for your entire family—book talks, puppet shows, art demonstrations and more.
Beginning Wednesday, June 3, all Lexington County Public Library (LCPL) branches will expand in-person service hours. Visit www.lexcolibrary.com for details.
Curbside pick-up will be available on Tuesdays. For details on how to use this service, call your local library branch.
Wi-Fi is available inside and outside of all branches.
Book returns are open at all branches.
