Batesburg-Leesville High School’s Winterguard takes 1st place at Carolina Winter Ensemble Association Championships

Batesburg-Leesville, SC 04/10/2024 - The Batesburg-Leesville High School Winterguard won 1st Place and Grand Champions at the Carolina Winter Ensemble Association Championships. They competed against over 30 guards on April 6th, 2024.

 

The students from Batesburg-Leesville scored an 84.32 in CWEA Class Scholastic Regional A. BLHS earned the highest score in Class SRA and has been promoted to Class Scholastic AAA.



The Batesburg-Leesville High School Color Guard is under the direction of Color Guard Instructor Dynisha Thompson and Band Director Josh Brown. The BLHS Winterguard 2024 Show was entitled "A Million Dreams" with music from the Greatest Showman. CWEA consists of winterguard and percussion ensembles from North and South Carolina.
