Batesburg-Leesville, SC 07/15/2021 (Paul Kirby) – The Batesburg-Leesville Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the owner or driver of a silver SUV that was used in a crime. Police say that the occupants of this vehicle stole a trailer and some equipment from behind another vehicle that was in the Walmart parking lot in town.
Please look at the attached photographs closely. The vehicle in question is the silver Chevrolet Suburban or GMC Yukon. Notice the one custom rear rim on the right rear and the body damage. This could be important.
The driver of the dark Chevrolet Avalanche that is pulling into the lot with the trailer and equipment behind it was the owner of the items taken. Apparently, while the owners were in the store, the thieves in the SUV just helped themselves to the trailer and other items.
