Lexington, SC – 04/06/21 – Last week, Bentley Pontoons in collaboration with My Pharmacy and Optical of Lexington, SC helped in administering COVID-19 vaccinations to its employees. “Nothing is more important than our employee’s safety and we wanted to do what we could to quickly get our team vaccinated.” said Bentley Pontoons President, Ryan Marcott.
Dave Hagen, who is the Plant Manager at Bentley Pontoons, was instrumental in getting the COVID-19 vaccinations done in such a timely fashion at the Bentley plant. “We wanted to take a leadership role in keeping our employees safe and healthy. We’ve had an excellent turn-out today and the team at My Pharmacy and Optical of Lexington were wonderful to work with.”
Christian Alugo, the production lead in the Bentley furniture department was one of the many employees who got the vaccine today. Christian was a bit reluctant at first to get the vaccine, but recently he had family members who got COVID-19 and survived. “After seeing the effects of COVID-19 on my family, I decided it was in my best interest to protect not only myself, but my wife as well as my 2-year-old son. I’m really thankful that Bentley has offered this to us.” said Christian.
