BROOKLAND-CAYCE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYER PARTICIPATES IN SIGNING DAY CEREMONY

West Columbia, SC 02/09/26 – A football player at Brookland-Cayce High School has committed to compete in his sport at the collegiate level.


Senior Barry Dixon signed a letter of intent Wednesday with McPherson College in Kansas during a National Signing Day ceremony. Dixon is a versatile athlete who has played on both sides of the ball on Brookland-Cayce’s team but focuses primarily on defense.


Dixon, who is expected to be joined by other Brookland-Cayce athletes in signing to play at the collegiate level, held his ceremony in the school’s Hall of Fame Room, attended by coaches, family, and friends.


Barry Dixon has committed to play football at McPherson College in Kansas.
