Bulls and Broncs coming to South Congaree Arena in March

South Congaree, SC – 02/18/2021 (Paul Kirby) – The South Congaree Championship Rodeo Committee isn’t sitting on its laurels this spring. They’ve decided to kick the action into high gear by bringing a Bull and Bronc Riding Event to the South Congaree Equestrian Arena in March.

Each summer or fall, the South Congaree Championship Rodeo has gotten bigger and better than ever. Rodeo fans pack the stands screaming and cheering for their favorites in all the traditional rodeo events. Still, the crowd is never louder than when the bronc and bull riders burst out the gates on 1000s of pounds of pure mean muscle ready to make a cowboy eat some dirt!

After the last successful event in September of 2020, it became obvious that one rodeo a year just wasn’t enough excitement for the great fans from across the Midlands of South Carolina. After giving it some thought, the producers of the rodeo decided that there was nothing better to cure the Pandemic Blues than a little more rodeo action!

On Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27, the producers have put together an all-action show featuring nothing but bucking broncs and raging bulls! That’s right, nothing but bucking animals will be featured on these two nights so the dust, sweat, and blood will fly from the end of the opening parade right until the last horn sounds.

Gates open each evening at 5 p.m. with lots of things to see and do. There’s always some mighty fine food so don’t rush home to feed the hombres when they can tie on the feedbag right there at the arena. It’s located at 395 Oak Street in South Congaree (West Columbia) and with the large cover, this Bucking Bash goes on rain or shine.

Tickets for the event are already on sale on-line. Adult admission is $18.00 per ticket and youth admission is just $14.00! As always, the little buckaroos five and under are free. Simply go to southcongareechampionshiprodeo.com to get yours today.
