Canal Coffee Co. opens new location in Town of Lexington, SC

Lexington, SC 01/30/2025 (Paul Kirby) - Canal Coffee Co., a family-owned, Carolina-based drive-thru coffee shop, announced Thursday the opening of its fourth South Carolina location. The newest store is located at 510 Columbia Ave., near downtown Lexington. Currently, the business has other locations on Summit parkway in Columbia, a shop on Broad River Road in Irmo, and one on Main Street in South Congaree near the Columbia Metropolitan Airport. This brings the total to nine stores across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida.

Grand Opening Celebration

Canal Coffee Co. invites the Lexington community to celebrate their grand opening on Saturday, February 8th with exciting events, including 50% off our popular “Sweet and Salty Mocha” - served hot or cold. The first 500 customers will receive free custom stickers with any purchase and kids can pick up a Canal Coffee Co. coloring page and turn in their completed sheet for a free Kid’s hot chocolate.

Expansive Menu with Seasonal Creations and Traditional and Specialty Beverages

Canal Coffee Co. is known for its high-quality, freshly ground and brewed coffee, as well as cold brews, hot breakfast (e.g. spicy sausage biscuits), sandwiches, baked goods, and dog treats. They specialize in small-batch coffees from artisan roasters, offering classics like lattes, cappuccinos, and cold brew, alongside signature drinks such as the Sea Salt Caramel Macchiato, 30 Below, and Lavender Honey Oat Milk Latte. Canal Coffee Co.’s new seasonal creation - Candy Collection—is crafted specifically for the Valentine’s season and is available through February 16. This roster includes Sweet Heart Lotus, Raspberry White Mocha Breve, and Coconut Mocha Latte. In the latte, rich espresso meets smooth chocolate and a hint of coconut, creating a balanced, creamy sip that’s both indulgent and satisfying.
