Lake Murray, SC 12/09/2020 - The Capital City/Lake Murray Country regional tourism office will host a Jingle & Mingle holiday drop-in event on Thursday, December 10,2020, from 4 until 7:30pm. Several local vendors including Bill Hastings Photography, the Purple Tuteur Farm, Evan Williams Creations and Jake Moore will have items for sale. The Lake Murray Souvenir Shop, located inside the Visitors Center, will also have some great gift options for your holiday list.
There will also be some great entertainment and food and drink options. The Town Theatre’s teen troop will perform live holiday music from 6 until 6:30pm (weather permitting). The Café Strudel’s food truck will be on site to grab dinner or a beverage and Columbia Craft Brewery and Enoree River Winery will provide FREE samples of their beverages.
The Historic Lorick Plantation House, which is home to the Lake Murray Country Visitors Center, steps back in time each Christmas season to 1840. The house is decorated to period including live and dried plant materials, a tremendous Christmas Tree, and lots of other beautiful decorations. While visiting, you can also browse through the gift shop or stroll through the recently renovated museum and history displays that feature information about Lake Murray and its surrounding areas.
