West Columbia, SC 09/23/2023 - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher is releasing the identity of the person who was shot and killed on September 23, 2023 at approximately 07:00 A.M. at a home located in the 2000 Block of Capital View Road located in Lexington County.
Coroner Fisher states that Mr. Gervamieon S. Moody, 24 years old, of West Columbia was shot multiple times in the upper body while in bed at the home of a female friend and died at the scene of his injuries.
The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate this incident. Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Mr. Moody.
