Cayce, SC 05/03/2023 (Paul Kirby) – The Cayce Police Department is trying to locate a man that they say stole a power drill, several batteries for it, and its charger from the porch of a home in the city. According to the department, Brian Wayne Lovett is a person they are very familiar with because this isn’t his first violation. In fact, several officers saw his image that had been caught on the home’s doorbell camera and immediately identified him as Lovett.
According to the police, on April 30, 2023, Lovett went to a home and stole the above mentioned items from the porch. All this was caught clearly on the home’s doorbell camera. Once he snatched the items, he quickly left the home before police could be notified and respond. Police uploaded the video they have on Facebook and several people were able to confirm what officers said, the man was indeed Brian Wayne Lovett. Police presented their evidence to a judge who then issued a warrant for Lovett’s arrest.
Now, Cayce officers need to get their hands on Lovett so that he can be dealt with through the courts.
