Cayce PD schedules FREE Back to School Bash in late July

Cayce, SC 07/10/2025 - The Cayce Police Department is excited to announce the details of the 2025 School Supply Drive and Back-to-School Bash – a free event for the whole family!
The school supply drive is taking place through July 25. You can help Cayce officers collect school supplies such as: pencils, pens, folders, binders, backpacks, notebooks, glue, and calculators for local Cayce students! These needed supplies or gift cards can be dropped off at the Cayce Police Department at 2 Lavern Jumper Road. During the event itself, Cayce officers will be handing out the collected school supplies on July 31 at the Back-to-School Bash. There will be snow cones, inflatables, haircuts, a DJ, and a visit from K9 Hudson! The event will be held from 5:30 – 8:30 PM at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church located at 1804 Wilkinson Street.
Cayce Police Chief, Bruce Wade, stated, “It is exciting to bring the community together and help our young people feel prepared for the coming school year! We are thankful for the donations we have received, and we want the community to know the impact their donations will have on our students, families, and our schools. Our School Resource Officers and I look forward to celebrating a new school year with you at our Back-to-School Bash on July 31!”
