Cayce, SC 10/03/2022 –The Cayce Police Department is gearing up for their Night Out Against Crime Event, taking place October 4th from 6-8 PM at the Cayce Police Department. This is located at 2 Lavern Jumper Rd. in Cayce. The event is free and open to the public.
Children will get the chance to learn about crime prevention, enjoy free food, play games, dance to music, view the car clubs and show off their halloween costumes. They will also learn Halloween safety, view K-9 police demonstrations, see specialty equipment and spend time with our Cayce officers!
The event is designed to increase awareness of crime and drug prevention, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships, generate support for local anticrime efforts and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are fighting back. Chief Chris Cowan shared his excitement about the event, “This is a time for our City to come together and unite against crime. This is a chance to let the criminals know that our neighborhoods are getting organized and fighting back. This event is an integral part of our effort to continue to make Cayce a safe place to live, work and play.”
