Chapin, SC (Paul Kirby) – Recently, the Greater Chapin Chamber of Commerce appointed Paul Sadler as their new president and CEO. The position was open after the last president, Rebecca Hines, left the position to run for the Lexington/Richland School District Five’s Board of Trustees.
Paul has lived with his family in the Chapin community for the past two years. Prior to that they lived in Irmo. He is married to Amanda and the couple have been together for 16 years. The Sadlers have two children, a girl named Addison and a younger son named Ethan. They both attend Chapin area schools. The Sadlers also include three pups as a part of their family.
Paul describes his family as active and says they love to take spontaneous trips to the beach or mountains. He said that Chapin is a great community to live in because it is right in the middle of the state and both of those areas of South Carolina, the coast and the mountains, are easily accessible.
Prior to arriving at the Chapin Chamber, Paul worked with the YMCA of Columbia where he served as the executive director for both the Lexington and Ballentine Family YMCAs. During his time at the Y, he was an active member of the Chapin Chamber. It was during that time that he fell in love with the Chapin community, according to Paul.
Paul recently said that he is thrilled to be a part of the growing community of Chapin. He continued saying he and his family are truly blessed to live and work in an area with such great business owners, leaders, educators, and citizens who share in the success of the community. He believes that by working together, everyone can do more and make the Chapin community stronger.
In his introduction to the membership via an email Paul said, “I am looking forward to serving you in my new role and meeting all the wonderful people of Chapin. My door is always open, and I welcome you to stop by the chamber house anytime."
