Chapin, SC 10/23/2021 (Paul Kirby) - Ashley Hiott, a Chapin area resident and dedicated public servant, is a serious contender for Legendary Dad Bod of the Year title. Hiott, the father of three daughters, has worked for Lexington County EMS and currently serves the military staff, civilian employees, and visitors as a member of Fort Jackson’s Emergency Medical Service in Columbia.
Someone entered Hiott’s name into the B+ Foundation contest, an organization that helps the families of children with cancer. Hiott said recently he was surprised to learn that at one point, he was in 2nd place overall.
According to the B+ Foundation’s Dad Bod website at https://legendarydadbod.com/, the Legendary Dad Bod competition proudly brings the ultimate physique into the limelight, the Dad Bod. Only the man with the fatherliest figure will reign supreme. Proceeds raised during this competition will go toward supporting the B+ Foundation's mission to help children battling pediatric cancer and their families.
Each competitor has the opportunity to win $25,000 and a be featured in a 2-page advertorial in Men's Journal. According to the website, these accolades are on the line for the man, the myth, the Legendary Dad Bod.
Casting a vote is free but additional votes can be purchased. All the proceeds from the purchased votes go to the B+ Foundation’s mission. This is a fun and fulfilling way to help raise money for a good cause.
