Coroner Fisher identifies man killed in Westwoods Drive crash

Lexington SC 02/03/2025 - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has positively identified the person who died in a single-vehicle accident in the 400 block of Westwoods Drive in the Chapin area of Lexington County on January 31, 2025.

According to Coroner Fisher, Christopher Lee Morris, 37, of Little Mountain was traveling westbound on Westwoods Drive when he traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. Mr. Morris, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.


The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to investigate the incident.
