Coroner Fisher identifies the victim in the Shull Street homicide

Lexington, SC 12/30/2021(Paul Kirby) - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher said late Wednesday that her office has identified the person who was shot and killed in a home in the 700 block of Shull Street in West Columbia yesterday. She said the descendant is Frankie Orlando Gardner, 35, of West Columbia. According to Fisher, the shotting happend around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.

According to Coroner Fisher, Gardner was pronounced dead at the scene due to a single gunshot wound to the upper body.

The West Columbia Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
