Coroner Fisher identifies victim of North Lake Drive collision

Lexington, SC 03/26/2022 (Paul Kirby) - Lexington County Coroner, Margaret Fisher, has identified the individual who died in a multiple-vehicle accident in the 1800 block of N. Lake Drive shortly at approximately 6:45 P.M. on Friday, March 25, 2022. According to Coroner Fisher, David E. Burk, 52, of Irmo, who was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision, was pronounced dead at the scene due to the injuries he received in the crash.

There were two other vehicles involved in this collision. The occupants of those vehicles were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
