Lexington, SC 02/15/2023 (Paul Kirby) - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher released the identity of the woman who was shot and killed during an incident that occurred on February 14, 2023. This shooting took place around 4:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Kroger grocery store in the Town of Irmo.
According to Fisher, Alexandria Cress Borys, 26, of Irmo, was shot after a she had a verbal altercation with Christina Comilla Harrison. According to police investigators, after the altercation, Harrison produced a weapon and shot Borys once in her head killing her where she stood. Harrison fled the scene in her car but voluntarily turned herself in to Irmo police officer about 5:30 p.m. that afternoon. She was arrestedwithout incident and has been charged with murder and is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center.
The Irmo Police Department with the assistance of the State Law Enforcement Division as well as the Lexington County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate this incident.
