Coroner identifies man killed in early morning vehicle vs. pedestrian collision

Lexington, SC 05/08/2024 - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has positively identified a man who died in a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident on Frontage Road near Commerce Drive along the 113 westbound exit ramp. This is in the Cayce area of Lexington County on May 8, 2024, at approximately 4:24 AM.

According to Coroner Fisher, Curt Alan Davis, 49, of Cayce was crossing Frontage Road on the 113 westbound exit ramp when he was struck by a vehicle. Davis was pronounced dead on scene due to the injuries sustained in the collision. The driver remained on scene and was not injured.

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the City of Cayce Police Department continue to investigate the incident.
