Lexington, SC 05/06/2022 - Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher invites all members of the public to a memorial service for twenty-one unclaimed Lexington County residents. The memorial and burial service will take place at the County of Lexington Cemetery, located at 729 S. Lee Street, Batesburg, SC at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
These twenty-one decedents will be honored and their cremated remains interred. Many of these individuals had no known relatives or friends; therefore, we are requesting the attendance of anyone who would like to join the Lexington County Coroner’s Office in extending compassion as they are laid to rest.
There is no need to RSVP. You may bring flowers and other memorials to leave on the burial site of the deceased if you wish.
